I had a motorcycle towed and the driver only tied the motorcycle down by the seat. Yes it tipped over while in transport. Called Kelvin personally and he kept saying to call him back. He wanted to pay me out of pocket but kept putting me off and finally during our last conversation the owner hung up. Apparently to busy to understand client service. Avoid at all cost. I don't want to add in my review regarding the insurance process but that was even worse. I have never left a bad re3view but after being hung up on by the owner 11/1/2017 1:37pm I had to let the public know my opinion. AVOID AVOID!!

Awesome job, went at lunch time. Staff had me in and out in no time at all. Ready for my last minute trip to Charlotte.....

My 99 Suburban broke down on a Sunday on I-26 in Orangeburg, SC when my 20 year old son borrowed it to move to his new duty station. Kelvin's was called by Geico to tow it to Firestone nearby and Kelvin called me enroute saying he could do the work at a fair price at his shop and I wouldn't have to pay Firestone's high rates. I decided to give him a chance. Orangeburg, SC is over 2 1/2 hours from my home so I wanted this done right and without multiple trips back and forth. On the phone the next day Kelvin told me the engine was bad and he could put a used one in by Friday for $2,200. My two sons picked it up a week and a half later to finish the duty station move and had to take it back immediately since it wouldn't shift up. The speedometer cable was unhooked. Then the starter broke and they had to pay him $80 bucks to install one they went and bought. They completed their run to Charleston and on to Kings Bay, Ga. Coming back from Georgia, in South Carolina, a couple days later the check engine light came on and stayed on and the truck was vibrating at a certain speed. We took it to our trusted local mechanic and he found the block was cracked on the replacement engine, and it was leaking coolant from the crack. I called Kelvin and he said the engine was fine when it left. My mechanic says the 350 Vortecs all crack in the same place when they freeze with no coolant. So I am out 2,200 bucks and the most I will get is a replacement engine from the salvage yard that Kelvin got the engine from, which I will probably use as a core since I don't know what I am getting. If I had taken it to Firestone at least I would have had some kind of national warranty. The only thing warrantied is the engine through the salvage yard. My local mechanic told me most salvaged engines have a warranty on them that covers labor if they fail, but mine doesn't according to Kelvin. I knew I should have found a truck and trailer and towed it back up here to Charlotte to begin with. I would not recommend Kelvins for any major work. I am sure they can change tires and put a starter on just fine, but they don't back their work.

At around 2:30 in the morning on a recent trip from Texas to WV my sister who was following me had a really bad blow out on the highway. After roadside assistance came to aid in changing our tire they informed us that the spare was in really bad shape and would not make it more than 100 miles that is if we were lucky. I called around to see if just maybe we could get her a new tire and continue our trip to our parents house instead of being stuck till 9-10am waiting for a Walmart automotive to open... I called a pilot truck stop praying they just maybe sell tires for cars but of course they don't HOWEVER I asked the gentleman that answered if he knew of any place at all that he knew of that would sell us a new tire and he gave us Kelvin's number. This amazing man got out of bed at 2am in the morning to open his shop to help us!!!! He was truly a life saver for me, my sister and our children (8 combined. My 5 and her 3). He got us back on the road in 1 hour flat! He was very kind, he checked her remaining tires for us and told us that the blow out was caused by a faulty stem on her tire. He was truly a blessing to us that night and I would 100% recommend his shop to anyone in that area! Thank you again so much for your willingness to help us that night you were Amazing!

I can't tell you personally about what kind of business these people do. But i can assume from the way that he tried running me off the road and was literally following me down the interstate 6 inches away from my car that they are wreckless.. I. Tapped my breaks a couple of times to get them off of my bumper and them they jerked the Wheel and sped up. Beside Me and i rolled my window down to see what this guys problem was and then he motioned for me Ti pull over so we could fight..i slowed down because there was no talking to this maniac and he sped up and did the same thing to someoneelse.. He is gonna get someone killed the way he's operating that truck on the highway . i know that.much. definitely not someone i would ever employ or trust to do work.. Good luck if you hire these people..
