I usually love Applebee's. But this one in Orangeburg... The bathroom was so disgusting, it put me off my meal. It's busy and the staff were able to cope with the demand - so that was a plus.
The food was fair. The service was fair. I hate franchises the only reason I went is because my boyfriend picked it. I prefer independent establishments
it took a while to be seated because the restaurant was not prepared for the influx of people due to the eclipse. When we were seated the service was great. We had Mo as our server and she was excellent.
Food was good, service good. Place was very unclean. Seat, table top, and my fork was properly the dirtiest I've ever been given.
Moe is the best waitress I have ever had. I came from NJ with my family to see the eclipse and they were overwhelmed with people and this girl treated us like we were the only people in the restaurant even as busy as she was. Returned the following night and the manager, Kent, remembered who we were and came over and welcomed us back. I couldn't ask for better food and friendlier service. I wish I could give them a 10.
