We were first at door at 6am, however they didn't unlock the door until 6:03. No big deal. Then they gave us a four top for (5). Then they smoked us out with the fireplace. Next, no silverware. They were out of all muffins, after letting us order muffins. Then they were out of crayons for kids. Not to mention we got the sense they were generally annoyed we were here. Terrible visit at a normally decent establishment.
It's a fantastic place to go to when on the road, however me and 4 others had some difficulties. First off, the food did take a little longer then intended, but that could have been due to the fact that we were just impatient. Secondly, our macaroni and cheese side was very small, It was maybe 5 bites in total. Thirdly, we struggled to get any silverware, there was none on the table when we got there, which is fine, but then we had to physically go up and get silverware after they gave us our food and promptly left, without us having time to ask out server. I will partially blame this on me and my guests due to the fact that it was pretty late, around 8pm. In the end the food was delicious and served it's purpose.
Just stopped in for snacks and drinks. Good service and selections. Good restrooms. Got in and out very quickly. There is a very good clearing out back where you can take dogs if you are travelling with one.
Great experience! Service was great and staff was kind. The kids enjoyed poking around at the knick knacks. Food was delicious and fast. Overall 10 out of 10 would go again.
We always enjoy the Cracker Barrel. You know what your getting before you stop. The for is just as good at one as it is another. Service was great & quick to seat. Just have to watch out in the gift shop. If you aren't careful your wife will buy everything before you even know what's happening.
