They do not have back up generators in case of power outages.
I have no complaints about cleaniness or reception service. Other than the thumping, the area was very quiet. Those are the only reasons for two stars instead of one.
The receptionist was AWESOME. Great advice when booking a hotel on line. The best thing she loves LeBron James. She was so much fun going back to 2016 when Cleveland got their first NBA Championship. After driving through Charlotte it was such a great way to end our day.
Nice and quiet. Very dirty bathroom. Shower hadn't been cleaned fully. Pet friendly and helpful front desk.
All in all not bad for Budget minded families.
The reason for only 4 stars is because although there are blinds for privacy. The room we were in at least the curtains did not close. So it was not quite as dark as we would have liked it to have been.
When I tried to was my hands the water was lukewarm to cold. It took about 5 minutes for the heat to come through.
They also serve a hot breakfast in the morning. Not the best but decent.
As the night went on, there was a constant periodic thumping, like there were water pipe issues. Needless to say, I didn't get the best nights rest.
This was disappointing considering the fact that I stayed at the exact location in July with a great experience.
There's a pool available when the weather cooperates. There are also handicap accessible rooms.
Booked a room to see the eclipse. Our room had a jacuzzi which was nice after the long drive. We did find some soap suds in the soap dish, but otherwise it seemed clean. Our room had great Wifi, but my brother-in-law's room was at the far end and he couldn't get signal. Breakfast was good, but nothing extraordinary.
This is a family friendly motel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. There is a mini fridge and microwave in the room available for your use. The fridge is not stocked. So there are no extra charges to use it.
I should've known something was wrong when the door scanner didn't read the entrance card the first three times I tried to use it. Once I got into the room, it was freezing. The heater was not turned on prior to me arriving Christmas night. The temperature was in the mid 30's.
