Hotel is great, there's plenty of restaurants around and the Internet is fast. Rooms are clean but the city itself is a bit rough. I suggest the hotel if you're in the area. Currently there is constriction in the hotel but it doesn't impede the comfort.
I want to thank the staff for being so kind and professional! They opened their doors to pet owners who were trying to get out of the way of hurricane Irma, and they did their best to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. I'm sure it wasn't easy for them with all the dogs and having a full hotel, but they did a great job and we are truly grateful! Thanks so much to all the staff, you are all wonderful and I hope you know how much you are appreciated! :)
During evacuations from Florida for hurricane Irma, this was one of the few hotels that I found to have rooms available. Unfortunately, it was listed as a non-pet friendly establishment but after a quick phone call I was informed by a very friendly and professional employee that they were waiving their pet policy due to the evacuations. At check in, the hotel staff was very friendly a kind and were accommodating everyone they could that needed lodging. They were extremely busy but never short and always had the time for questions...with a smile. The facility was neat and clean and the rooms were very well kept and comfortable. This establishment should be commended for opening their doors to pets to assist everyone they could during the evacuations. Thank You! I am grateful.
I am giving it a 3 due to front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. I normally choose this hotel when coming through but I was not please at all with the cleanliness of the room. Stained curtains, large dust balls hanging on walls and ceilings. Broken time, dirty grout. 8 have pics and will post if allowed. Plan to do review on Travelocity since you can add pics. Also they are in a middle of remodel so dusty. That wasn't told when reserving, which I think they should mention.
Hotel itself is pretty good. Clean and well maintained. Staff was pleasant. However, it is situated near a railroad, and I was awoken by the associated noise. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Breakfast is included in the room fee. Its advertised from 0630-0830.......but they actually set everything up by 0600. Food is OK. Typical free hotel breakfast. Nothing special, but not bad.
