Evacuated for Hurricane Irma. The hotel accommodated pets of evacuees even though they have recently become a no pet hotel. Hotel was at full capacity, and the staff worked very diligently to take care of weary guests. Customer service was excellent. Although this is an older facility, in need of some TLC, the staff, as well as other guests, made our experience as pleasant as possible. Thank you !
Do not come and stay at this hotel.... This is the worst place I have ever stayed.... Sheets not clean, MOLD IN SHOWER, room just not up to Par... The staff was rude.... breakfast suppose to start at 7 to 10 for choice and they are from 6 to 9.... i was very unsatisfied with my stay... I needed a late check out and could even get that.... I will be speaking with ur GM something need to be done about this.....
First and foremost all of the staff that we interacted with has been courteous and accommodating. The first room we were given was not good at all bordering on atrocious. The staff immediately without hesitation switched us to another room which was very well keep and had new/newer furnishings. Only reason I give it 3 stars is that the pool is closed with absolutely no indication that it was. There are no signs, no one told us when we checked in nor does the website mention it other then having one in the amenities. Being closed is not a problem but we told our kids, 19 months and 28 months, each time we passed that we'd go. You can only imagine the melt down they had after getting them dressed and taking them down to the pool.
Some places are beautiful and some places are disgusting! I happened to get the nasty one! The bathrooms are so disgusting I wouldn’t advise no on to stay unless that was your last option because it was mine! I stayed there from Thursday-Mon. And after Friday morning I didn’t even shower there any longer! I didn’t have any other place to go so I had to deal with it. All the rooms were taken that weekend so I couldn’t move and they tried to tell me I could when I called to complain! If I could move don’t you think I would have the first day after seeing the room? Then they charged me $140 a night during that weekend for that nasty room! Just DONT GO HERE! If you want pictures of the bathrooms to ensure you’re decision send me an email. Certain spots of this hotel is TERRIBLE!
Our first room had horrible stains on the jacuzzi room bedspread which left too much to the imagination, the toilet still had someone’s urine and pubic hairs on it!! The second room’s bedspreads were much better, but the toilet wasn’t, but we were so tired that I took my Clorox wipes and cleaned the bathroom and sink services down myself. When we went back to the service desk to get the second room the desk clerk never even said she was sorry for our inconvenience, just that she didn’t have another king room. I complained at the desk the next morning at checkout and the woman told us she was the manager and that she wasn’t very happy with what I told her and apologized. An apology would have been to credit all or part of my room fees for cleaning it myself. Will never return or recommend this hotel. I’m copying this review to the internet to worn anyone else traveling the roads. Very disappointed!!
